Mr. Farhad Farhodov

Founder, Pamir Gems

Mr. Farhad Farhodov began his journey in the gemstone industry as a miner in the historic Kuh-i-Lal region of Tajikistan, home to some of the world's most celebrated pink and red spinels.

With over three decades of experience, his knowledge of gemstones has been shaped by years of working closely with the material, from its origins in the mine to the finished polished stone.

His passion for gemstones is reflected in his careful approach to selecting, cutting, and polishing, with a particular focus on bringing out the natural beauty and individual character of each stone.

Today, as the founder of Pamir Gems, Mr. Farhodov continues to guide the company's vision and international operations, supporting responsible mining practices and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, jewelers, and collectors around the world.

The Team Behind Pamir Gems

Pamir Gems is built on the knowledge, dedication, and experience of a team working across different parts of the gemstone industry. From sourcing and cutting to business operations and creative development, each member plays an important role in the company's continued growth.

At the heart of our operations is a dedicated team of highly skilled gemstone cutters based at our Bangkok headquarters and African office. With years of experience and a deep understanding of gemstones, our cutters specialize in bringing out the finest qualities of each stone, carefully considering its color, proportions, brilliance, and natural characteristics.

Pamir Gems is also a family business. Mr. Farhodov's daughters, Tais Farhodov and Sitora Farhodov, are actively involved in the company, contributing to its development and carrying forward the family's connection to the gemstone trade. His nephew, Dzhamshed, works closely with Mr. Farhodov in managing day-to-day activities and supporting business operations.

Behind the scenes, our accounting and administrative team oversees financial records, documentation, and regulatory compliance, helping ensure that our international business operates smoothly and responsibly.

Our creative team manages the company's website, digital presence, and online activities, presenting our gemstones to a wider audience while sharing the stories, knowledge, and craftsmanship behind them.
